Sotiris Karagiannis has over 28 years of experience as a corporate trainer and consultant in soft skills areas, such as leadership, culture change, motivation and engagement. He managed the Greek franchise of the globally recognized Dale Carnegie Training firm and is certified to deliver the Daniel Pink Motivation 3.0 engagement workshop. His clients are some of the biggest in pharma (Bayer, Johnson&Johnson, Astra Zeneca, Novartis, etc.), FMCG (Coca-Cola, Danone), luxury (Swarovski), Telcom (Ericsson), IT (Oracle, HP), commodities (3M). He has worked as a strategy consultant for the analysis of the current situation of firms and the development of a strategic plan to help the firms sustain competitive advantage while containing costs.

Kevan Lyons is an adjunct lecturer at UNYP. He is a qualified Management Accountant with over 18 years’ experience working in multinational corporations and is currently Deputy Financial Controller – International at CDK Global, based in the new Business Service Centre in Prague.

Kevan previously worked in various financial controlling roles over a 10-year career in DPDHL Group in Prague. He has worked in all areas of finance – including financial accounting, joint venture accounting and management accounting & reporting – in industries as varied as information technology, tertiary education, media sales (radio), oil & gas, and utilities.

Following the completion of his MBA in 2011, Kevan joined the Business Administration faculty, teaching the ACCA accredited Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting courses in the BBA program. He also teaches Financial Management & Decision Making in the University of Bolton MSc International Management program and Financial Strategy in the UNYP MBA program.

Ludmila Lytkina has over 20 years of experience as a Marketing Director in FMCG, retail, technology and services. As an independent marketing and brand management consultant, she has developed brand strategies for top companies in these industries (LG, Danone, Erste Bank, MegaSport, Ferrero, etc.). She has also worked as business developer in Ukraine and Belarus for local and international clients like Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Osram, Samsung, Nokia, etc.
Ludmila, who has innate ability to motivate people for ambitious targets, is results-oriented, analytical, positive, cooperative and creative person, speaks fluent English, native Russian, passive German, also established her own Brand Management school in Belarus training entrepreneurs in Brand Management strategies for their products and services.

I have connected my professional life with the University. Since 2017, I have been the Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation at the University of Business in Wroclaw. I effectively, with devotion and commitment, manage the International Relations Office, Project Office, Career Office, Science Department, Library and the Sustainable Development Council.
I am associated with tourism and sustainable development through education, experience and passion. At the University of Wroclaw, I have obtained a PhD in Earth Sciences in the field of Regional Geography and Tourism. I have also developed my education abroad. I have completed the Washington Professional Development Program at the American University in Washington (D.C.) in the USA and Edgware College in London, UK.
I am the author and co-author of over 50 scientific publications, mainly in international journals; lecturer and a speaker at domestic and foreign universities in the field of tourism and sustainable development with several years of experience; participant of research and teaching internships and a speaker at conferences in over 20 countries worldwide. In recent years, I have coordinated over a dozen scientific and research projects, several of them in international teams. I am also a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education “Leaders in university management” and a laureate of both, the Municipal Support Program for Partnership in Higher Education and Science and the MOZART Economic Activity Sector.
I also work for local and national NGOs, I am a co-founder and board member of the Naooka Association and the Polish Tourism Association.

Dr. Andreas Antonopoulos is the Rector of UNYP and teaches Entrepreneurship in its MBA Programs. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from University College London, UK, where he has been teaching as an Adjunct Professor since 1998. Dr. Antonopoulos also earned an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and a D.Eng from the University of Patras, Greece. He has published numerous business and academic papers, and is a frequent speaker at major conferences and industry events. Dr. Antonopoulos has a 20-year career balancing an academic, industry and entrepreneurial background. He was Co-founder and Managing Partner of Working Knowledge, a leading telecoms advisory firm and has also spent 5 years teaching Telecom Business & Entrepreneurship, serving as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Technology Management Department, as well as holding the position of Graduate Programs Director, at the CEU Business School of Central European University. He has held a variety of senior and middle management appointments in leading telecom sector companies such as RHK, Lucent Technologies, Nortel Networks and British Telecom, serving in a number of countries worldwide.
Dr. Antonopoulos also co-founded and sits on the board of directors of Marathon Invest, an investment fund focusing in the CEE markets and of Viva Credit, an online financial services firm. He has had a total of six start-up engagements since 2001. Having worked and lived in Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Spain, the UK and the US, and speaking six languages, Dr. Antonopoulos brings substantial international and multicultural experience to UNYP.

Chris Grant qualified as an accountant (ACMA) after completing her degree in Economics at the University of Stirling (1988). Having worked first for Ford Motor Co, she moved to British Telecom where she held a number of positions in financial and commercial management, in particular in specific financial and reporting requirements associated with regulated industries and national security. During this time, she took her MA in Canadian and North American Studies at Birkbeck, University of London (MA, 1998).

Chris joined the University of Bolton in 2011 as a Lecturer within the Off-Campus Division teaching a range of business modules at overseas partners. Since 2015, Chris has been Academic Coordinator for the Off-Campus Division with specific responsibility for partner set-up and development. She manages the university’s partners in Czechia and Greece, and retains some teaching responsibilities.

She is in the final stages of writing up her doctorate, which looks at the ethical understanding of postgraduate business students in Malawi and Zambia and the way this influences their research.

George is an entrepreneur, consultant and professor at the University of Colorado and is no stranger to Slovenia and Slovenia’s companies. He started his career at Apple Inc. But found his passion in entrepreneurship and start-ups. His career is full of experience from both sides of the spectrum, corporations as well as small companies and start-ups. He has firsthand experience of top managerial positions, he took the responsibility of being Managing Vice President of Gardner Inc., as well as starting and managing start-ups. Elevation of his experience is lecturing and passing on his knowledge to younger generations, as a professor at the University of Colorado.
He is sharing his knowledge and experience with joy and devotion which brought him to Slovenia many times and gave him the opportunity to collaborate with Slovenian government. Born teacher and lecturer remarkably like to work with young, encouraging entrepreneurship and creativity in them. His fundamental message to young people is not to be afraid of failure, because it’s an inevitable part of success, even more, he calls failure: practice.
